OK, we're done beating around the bush.

In 1957, when disposable diapers were just getting started, the average age for potty training for little girls was 17 months and for little boys 19 months. Now it's closer to 36 months for most kids and still the vast majority use disposable diapers that waste money, water, bleach, 20 trees per baby, and landfill space.

For many it is just ignorance and for some it's just plain laziness, it's easier to let the baby set in there own waste multiple times with a disposable diaper than to change them.
